Hey everyone today I will be showing you how to disable UPnP on your router. Now the frist thing we need to do is login to the router so from any computer that you have
that’s wired or wireless to the router you just want to you open up your web
browser and up in the address bar you when enter in the IP address of the
router. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1 When you go to that address you’ll be taken to the D-link router login page were it will ask you for your username and password. Now by default the username is admin and there is no password so you should be able to just leave the password blank and click on login. However if you have set up a password you’ll need to enter that in. Now once you’ve logged into your router you just want to click on the Advanced
tab at the top and on the left hand side you’re gonna can click on Advanced Network. From here you’ll see the option for UPnP you just wanna uncheck it and then click on the Save Settings
button. Now depending on your router the router may need to be rebooted if so it will prompt you just click on
the reboot now button. In this case it’s automatically doing it for
us. We click on continue and now UPnP is disabled.
