Loxone Video Blog: Smart Security

Hi guys. Welcome to this month’s video blog. My name’s Matt. This month, we’re looking at Safety and Security and we’re going to go over some of the great features that the Loxone system allows. First off, let’s have a look at the burglar alarm. The Loxone burglar alarm ensures complete peace of mind, whether you’re asleep upstairs, or away from the house completely. Using motion sensors, and window & door contacts we can make sure that as soon as somebody decides to enter the house who shouldn’t be there, we trigger the alarm. If your burglar alarm is triggered, the first stage is all users will get a notification though the app. The second stage will be the audible alarm. The next stage after that will be the visual alarm; your blinds will open, and all the lights in the house will flash. Of course, safety and security does not just come down to your burger alarm. We need to make sure we’re monitoring for fire and smoke. If fire or smoke is detected, let’s make sure we turn on all the lights, alert users in the home, and make sure that we open things like blinds to make sure access routes and exit routes are cleared. Of course, it’s not only fire that can damage a home. Water can cause just as much damage. Make sure you consider Loxone Water Sensors for anywhere in the house where a leak might occur. So, underneath kitchen cabinets or in your bathroom. As soon as a leak is detected, let’s give ourselves the best possible chance of making sure there’s no further damage. Another great feature of the Loxone Smart Home is our Window & Door Monitor. This allows you to see, on the app, the status of all the windows and doors across your property. So, if you’re laying on the sofa and a storm’s rolling in you can make sure that all the windows and doors are closed. Or, if you’re away from home, it gives you complete peace of mind knowing that your home is secure. For more information head to loxone.com/security or contact your local Partner today. Thanks for watching! We’ll see you again soon.
